Attorney Lucas E.W. Jerkins
Lucas E.W. Jerkins is an Associate Attorney with Spicer Rudstrom. Lucas obtained a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee and his Juris Doctorate from Nashville School of Law. While in law school, Lucas was employed with the firm as a paralegal, where he assisted the attorneys in defending clients through discovery, research and trial preparation. At Cumberland University, he was a four-year letterman for the Cumberland University football team and was named Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference in 2008. Lucas was a part of the Mid-South Conference West Division Co-Champion team in 2008, which was Cumberland’s first conference championship in Football since 1947.
Lucas’s practice is concentrated primarily in the following areas: insurance coverage litigation; insurance defense; insurance subrogation/indemnity; premises liability; property and casualty litigation; workers’ compensation; and domestic law. His competitive background fuels his aggressive litigation strategies when handling client’s claims.
Outside of the practice of law, Lucas enjoys horseback riding, playing football and hockey, and cheering on the Nashville Predators and Tennessee Titans.
