Nicholas (Nick) is an attorney in Spicer Rudstrom’s Chattanooga office. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006. He earned his J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in 2011. Nick is a member of the Bradley County Bar Association, Chattanooga Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association.

His main practice areas include automobile liability, business and commercial litigation, family and domestic law, insurance defense litigation and premises liability, among other practice areas below.

Growing up, Nick did not dream about becoming a lawyer. While working on his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, he appreciated hearing his adjunct professors talk about their “day jobs” as lawyers. During his senior year, he interned with the District Attorney’s office, where he enjoyed investigating the factual circumstances of a case, learning the applicable law and developing a theory to reach the best possible result. That is when he decided to pursue the practice of law as a career.

Prior to joining Spicer Rudstrom, Nick worked as a trial attorney in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he represented a broad range of clients in a variety of civil litigation matters throughout the greater Cleveland/Chattanooga area. He has served as a volunteer with Southeast Tennessee Legal Services, Bradley County’s Campus Court Program and Erlanger Children’s Hospital.

Nicholas is married to his high school sweetheart, Erin, and they have two children, Cason and Emersyn. Away from the office, Nicholas enjoys spending time with family and friends out on the lake, as well as watching college football and improving his golf game.
