Nick practices out of the firm’s Chattanooga office where he assists and represents a broad range of clients in a variety of civil litigation matters. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006. Nick earned his Juris Doctorate from the Nashville School of Law in 2011. A native of Chattanooga, Nick returned to East Tennessee after law school where he practiced as a trial attorney in Cleveland before joining Spicer Rudstrom.

Nick has been with the firm since 2014. He is a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association. His main practice areas include automobile liability, business and commercial litigation, family law, construction litigation, and premises liability, among other practice areas below.

Growing up, Nick did not dream about becoming a lawyer. However, while working on his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, he appreciated hearing his adjunct professors talk about their day jobs as trial lawyers and the nuances of litigation. During his senior year, Nick interned with the District Attorney’s office for the 16th Judicial District, where he enjoyed investigating the factual circumstances of a case, learning various aspects of the applicable law, and then developing a theory or strategy to reach the best possible result. That is when he decided to pursue the practice of law as a career.

Nick is married to his high school sweetheart, Erin, and they have two children, Cason and Emersyn. Away from the office, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends out on the lake, as well as watching college football, working on his golf game, and coaching and supporting his kids in all of their youth sporting events.
