Al is a trial lawyer and adviser to Spicer Rudstrom’s business and insurance clients who focuses on civil litigation. As someone who has always enjoyed a challenge, pursuing a legal career, where he is able to find solutions to the issues facing his clients, seemed to be a perfect fit. He is most passionate about providing top-quality legal services and obtaining the best possible results for his clients.

Al obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia, where he was a member of Chi Phi Fraternity and the Intramural Light Heavyweight Boxing Champion in 1971. He obtained his J.D. from Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis).

Al’s practice is concentrated in civil litigation in the following areas: insurance defense, class action litigation, business, and commercial litigation, premises liability, trucking and transportation litigation, commercial collections, and probate.

Al has been blessed with his fantastic wife, Ann; five wonderful children, Ben, Spencer (and his wife, Katie), Alie, Emma, and Nina; and four beautiful grandchildren, Reese, Parker, Maxwell, and Malcolm, who keep him up-to-date with the latest social media memes.
